The ladies over at Heaven on Earth really are something special. Churning out one spectacular bouquet after another, their beautiful designs never cease to amaze. Walking into their boutique is like entering wedding paradise – surrounded by an array of plum, silver, green, glass, feathers, tablescapes, and of course flowers. Typically hiding behind masses of roses, orchids and whichever other gorgeous blooms strike their fancy – today we get a look at the beautiful faces behind the beautiful floral art.

1. Why/how did you get into floral design?
You can blame my Mother……I was on my way to Chicago to work as a paramedic for Chicago fire. And Some how I got shanghaied in to becoming a florist. LOL! But on a more serious note…… My Mother and I decided to take one of her small florist shops that she had started in Princeville IL. and move it to Chillicothe IL. It was not going in the direction that we had wanted so we decided to move to Peoria. We have built up our wonderful studio from nothing and now it is exactly how we have always envisioned it. We have worked very hard researching different floral vendors from all over the world to provide our customers with the very best fresh florals. Also to provide them with the variety that they want and deserve!
2. What are your very favorite wedding trends?
There is really no one thing that is our favorite wedding trend. I would have to say that we love the fact that just about anything go’s! Each and every bride can have the look and feel that she really wants and doesn’t’ have to worry about traditions or trends. We are seeing everything from very vintage, to very cold modern looks and themes and the variety is AWESOME! You never have to see the same things twice!
3. What other services do you offer other than floral arrangements?
Heaven on Earth provides an extensive line of unique rental items. Beautiful glassware, feather arrangements, unique centerpieces and much more.
4. What would YOUR wedding bouquet look like?
For me I would choose a very earthy bouquet…. I think…. It is really hard to say just exactly what it would be because I really love everything we put together. I have seen and made so many beautiful bouquets that the only thing I am 100% sure of is it would be natural and earthy. Something like this……..

5. What can a bride expect when first meeting with you?
A fun and relaxed atmosphere. We love weddings and we want every bride to have a great time choosing her wedding decor and bridal flowers. Many brides and their families become very stressed over the wedding planning and we try to make their experience at Heaven on Earth fun and relaxing. They will leave here feeling confident in there choices…. and in us!
6. What are some unique “non-typical” additions to bouquets?
Feathers and Echeveria. Very different and wild new flowers. Below is an example showing the awesome Echeveria! They really add a vintage feel to any bouquet.

I love the peony bouquet, and the portraits at the end!
WOW! Love that fushia coat! And the flowers are amazing.
